The brand is an exploration of the space between loss and renewal, and the transformation that takes place between the two.
When you purchase from Post Mortems you’re not just buying a product. You become part of a story that recognizes beauty in destruction, and honors what survives.
The Maker
I have a longstanding history of doing things I don’t technically know how to do. I believe in faking it ’til you make it, and asking for forgiveness later.
I’m a nature-loving, dual citizen, world traveler, and largely self-taught artist. I’ve spent my life collecting experiences, perspectives, memories, and influences from different disciplines and different corners of the world. The further away and weirder, the better.
Most of all; I’m endlessly fascinated by people—what we fear, what we’re drawn to, what we choose, and why.
I don’t believe creativity needs permission, credentials, or a perfectly mapped-out plan. Most of Post Mortems has been built through curiosity, experimentation, and a heavy dose of “fuck it, let’s see what happens.”
The result is work that doesn’t fit neatly into a category.
Neither do I.
